Calculate your CO2 emissions for air freight transport
In accordance to article L1431-3 of the transport code (decree no. 2011-1336 of October 24th 2011 concerning carbon emissions during freight), Corsair provides to its cargo customers a tool allowing to calculate the carbon dioxide emissions for air freight.
To calculate your CO2 emissions, input the quantity of goods carried.
Example: If you carry 350 kg of goods from Paris-Orly to Pointe-à-Pitre, according to our tool this transport releases 1865,5 kg of CO2 in the atmosphere (350 x 5,33).
N.B: all data related to CO2 emissions includes a 1% increase due to complementary transport (road, rail freight or freight by water).
- 1. Download the Excel sheet
- 2. Input the amount (in kg) of goods transported in the column F.
- 3. You will then find the amount of reportable CO2 emissions in the column G.
