Pick a comfortable outfit

The motto: choose comfortable clothes in which you will feel good. You will then have to privilege comfort over elegance: loose clothing and comfortable shoes will be de rigueur.
If you are lucky enough to go out in the sun in winter, think that you will have to come back and plan to bring warm clothes for the return trip.
Toilet kits (no sharp, pointed or pointed objects, or products containing more than 100 ml of liquid) are allowed. So keep something on hand to refresh yourself, brush your teeth, etc. The skin can also suffer from discomfort during a flight: don't hesitate to rehydrate it often with a well-moisturizing cream. Details that, on long-haul flights, are no longer there.
A comfort kit is provided in Premium and Business class. This kit includes a rest mask, a pair of
socks, a dental kit, earplugs, a packet of tissues, a moisturizing milk.

Letting yourself go to your destination!

Earplugs, eye mask, inflatable headrest, wool (it can be chilly in the cabin) ... Doing nothing and resting requires a minimum of preparation. You can also count on our entertainment (movies, games, music...) and relaxation programs.
A long-haul flight is also a good time to devour one or two novels... remember to pack a few good books in your carry-on baggage.

Anticipate from the day before departure to take-off

Fresh and available! Sleep well before departure and don't fast (prefer a light diet and limit the excitement): two precepts that will allow you to approach the flight in complete peace of mind.
If you suffer from circulatory problems, consult your doctor before the flight, who will prescribe a preventive treatment if necessary. During the flight, remember to get up regularly to take a few steps: this reactivates blood circulation and relaxes your legs. Take the opportunity to stretch. When sitting down, you can also make a few small movements of your ankles and legs.
During takeoff, the change in cabin pressure can cause some ear pain. The best way is to decompress by chewing gum for example, swallowing water in small sips, or by yawning. For a baby, provide a bottle of water or fruit juice, to be drunk little by little, throughout the take-off.
The air conditioning from the air taken from high altitude is very dry, and the atmosphere in the cabin is very dry. Bet on hydration! To keep your body well hydrated, drink plenty of fluids. Avoid drinking too many soft or sweet drinks, and prefer water: don't hesitate to ask our flight staff for a glass of water. For variety, try an infusion (which may also help you sleep) but don't overindulge in tea or coffee: they have exciting properties. Be aware that alcohol dehydrates and its effects increase with altitude, even in a pressurized cabin.

Manage jet lag

A few tips to limit the effects of jetlag :

  • Set your watch to the time of your destination to get your brain used to it.
  • Eat light to better fight against falling asleep and avoid digestive disorders.
  • Avoid caffeine to avoid disturbing the natural rhythms already disturbed.
