What are the prices for freight transport?

Réponse

For all your questions concerning delivery methods and prices, get as much information as possible in advance (nature of the goods, weight and dimensions, shipping dates, etc.) and get in touch with our correspondents.

Important information on rates:

The unaccompanied baggage system offers a lower price per kilo than the excess baggage, however, this system is only advantageous if you have major excess baggage (> 10 to 20 kg) due to the minimum lump sums applicable on the freight.
The price you shall be offered applies to the taxable weight of your shipments, so the volume of your shipments will be taken into account. Most of our correspondents offer "all-inclusive" packages up to a certain weight. To avoid any inconvenience, make sure, depending on the formula you choose, that you clearly specify whether or not the ancillary costs are included in the given price (customs duties, cost of intervention by a forwarder for customs clearance formalities, delivery costs to home...).

Note by the customs:
Depending on the country of origin, if you have carried out purchases exempt from VAT, they will be subject to the payment of custom duties and taxes, of the country of destination.
In case of alcohols from the French overseas departments and territories (Rums, etc.): since 01/11/2009, the freight tolerance has increased to 3 bottles of 70 cl or 2 liters of rum. If you exceed this quantity, you shall pay customs the taxes when you arrive in metropolitan France.
