How to transport diving equipment?

Réponse

The conditions related to transporting special baggage are applicable for flights operated by CORSAIR exclusively.
For any flight operated by another company, we invite you to contact the latter in order to find out the conditions related to it.

Diving equipment must be transported in a container separate from your luggage allowance for a maximum weight of 20 kg.

The bottles must be emptied, uncapped and placed in the baggage hold.
Diving torches can travel in the cabin if they are disconnected from their heat source.
Batteries, bulbs and accumulators must be transported in the baggage hold. The diving bag must include a maximum of a wetsuit, a lifejacket, a mask, shoes, fins, knife and regulator.

Diving equipment can be transported free of charge and included in the baggage allowance of your fare class instead of the hold baggage included, if the sports equipment concerned complies with the maximum weight allowance of your fare class and/or the authorized dimensions mentioned above.

If the sports equipment concerned exceeds the maximum authorized weight of the baggage allowance for your fare class and/or the required dimensions, you will be charged a flat-rate fee of :

  • 50€ per journey for intra-Community and regional flights,
  • 70€ per trip for international flights.
