CSR Policy at Corsair
As a committed player in the energy transition of the aviation sector, Corsair has made Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) a core part of its strategy. The airline is determined to reduce its environmental footprint while supporting the regions it serves.
A more modern and efficient fleet
Corsair has invested in renewing its fleet with new-generation aircraft, such as the Airbus A330neo, which consume less fuel and emit fewer CO₂ emissions. These aircraft also provide greater passenger comfort and contribute to a quieter flying experience.
Operational optimization
The airline continuously works to optimize its operations: improved flight planning, lighter aircraft equipment, and the use of innovative technologies to reduce fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
Support for local development
Corsair builds lasting partnerships with the overseas regions it connects. By encouraging sustainable tourism and local economic development, the airline contributes to the vitality of these territories.
Commitment to inclusion and diversity
Within the company, Corsair promotes equality, diversity, and the well-being of its employees. Training, internal promotion, and equal opportunities are pillars of its human resources policy.

A Longstanding Commitment

A Commitment in Line With the Expectations of Our Stakeholders

- For employees: be an employer that promotes an attractive and responsible human resources policy, fostering employee development and well-being.

Three Major Ambitions Shared by All Corsair Employees
The company’s CSR policy is led by the operational support department, and each department must then implement it through concrete actions adapted to its scope.
Ambition 1: Harness innovation to improve environmental efficiency
A French scheduled airline, Corsair has been operating long-haul flights for over forty years. An expert in its field, the company constantly innovates in flight preparation, during flights and on the ground to improve the environmental impact of its operations and to ensure the highest safety standards for all its customers.
- 100% of Corsair’s fleet renewed by the end of 2024
- – 25% reduction in GHG emissions per seat thanks to A330neo aircraft (vs. older-generation aircraft);
- – 60% reduction in noise footprint thanks to A330neo aircraft (vs. older-generation aircraft);
- Nearly 6,000 tons of CO₂ emissions reduced over 12 months (July 2023 – June 2024) thanks to eco-piloting measures.
- Recycling equivalent to the weight of 1 bus through the waste management project implemented in Martinique in March 2024. Over 5 years, this project, led by Corsair with ITEDOM and Newrest, will avoid landfilling the equivalent weight of an Airbus A319.
