Formalities for passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility
Assistance offered by Corsair
If you have a disability or reduced mobility and require specific assistance, either at the airport or during the flight, please inform us at the time of booking, and no later than 48 hours before your scheduled departure.
Elderly passengers or those with temporary mobility limitations (e.g., a leg in a cast) may also request airport assistance under the same conditions.
Transporting mobility equipment
For the transport of equipment such as a wheelchair, guide or assistance dog, prosthetic limb, or any other mobility aid, please notify us when booking and no later than 48 hours before departure.
Travelling with a guide or assistance dog
If you are travelling with a guide or assistance dog, you must ensure the animal meets the health requirements of both departure and arrival countries. The animal must also be properly identified, for example with a distinctive harness or tag.
For more details on transport conditions for passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility, please consult our dedicated guide.
Transport restrictions and requirement for a companion
For safety or technical reasons (e.g., inability to board via the aircraft door), Corsair may refuse transport of passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility.
In certain situations, a companion is required to ensure appropriate assistance and to meet safety regulations.
A companion is required in the following cases:
- The passenger cannot understand or follow safety instructions.
- The passenger cannot physically participate in an evacuation in an emergency.
The accompanying person must meet the following conditions:
- Be an adult and autonomous
- Must not be responsible for a person with a disability while also caring for:
- A child under the age of 5
- Another person with a disability
Limitations of in-flight assistance
Corsair’s in-flight assistance does not include:
- Help with eating or drinking
- Assistance to the restroom
- Medical assistance, including medication administration
- Transfer from seat to onboard wheelchair
If you require any of these services, we strongly recommend travelling with someone who can provide this assistance to ensure your comfort and safety throughout the journey.
