Carrying your medicines

In the case of medical treatment requiring syringes to be carried (e.g. insulin treatment, etc.), European cabin luggage restriction regulations stipulate that passengers must present their personal prescription from their GP at the airport security desk.

This must certify the need for the passenger to keep syringes in the cabin, describe all the treatments taken with them for the trip (outward flight, stay and return flight), and mention all the medicines, including those with a less frequent turnover.

Important information

You must bring your own cooler bag to keep your medicines or vaccines.

Travelling with medical equipment

For medical equipment (respiratory or other equipment), you must make a prior authorization request to the company. Some equipment actually contains “concealed” hazardous merchandise not permitted in the cabin.
