Formalities for minors
Before travelling, it is essential to verify the current requirements for minors to ensure compliance on the day of departure.
- Babies must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Only one baby per adult is allowed.
- A child under 12 not registered as UM (unaccompanied minor) must travel with an adult over 18.
- Responsibility of guardians: the accompanying adults must ensure the child meets all requirements for exiting France and entering the destination country.
- Identity documents: since 26 June 2012, EU regulations require all passengers, children and adults alike, to travel with an individual identity document (passport or ID card, depending on destination). It is no longer permitted to add a child to a parent’s passport.
- Family record book: the livret de famille is not recognized as an identity document and cannot be used for air travel.
Unaccompanied minor (not travelling with parent)
A minor travelling abroad without their mother, father or legal guardian must present three mandatory documents at check-in and immigration control:
If the child’s parents are EU nationals:
- Valid identity document for the minor (and visa if required by destination).
- Photocopy of a valid identity document of the signing parent: national ID card, passport or residence permit.
- Parental authorisation form signed by a parent with parental authority.
If the child’s parents are non-EU nationals:
- Valid identity document for the minor (and visa if required by destination).
- Photocopy of a valid identity document of the signing parent: ID card, passport, valid residence permit, or refugee/stateless travel document.
- Parental authorisation form signed by a parent with parental authority.

Child travelling with an unrelated adult
If your child is not registered as UM and will travel with an adult who is neither a parent nor legal guardian—and whose booking is not in the same reservation—you must contact our customer service before departure to notify us. This service is free if arranged in advance. You will need to provide: the accompanying adult’s booking reference (for each leg) and their last name.
Attention: if this declaration is not made, an UM surcharge will apply at the airport on the day of departure.

How to transport your stroller?
Checked luggage transport of strollers is free up to age 2 (at the date of each flight). There are no size restrictions as long as your child's stroller is of reasonable size. You must declare it at check-in so it can be tagged like a suitcase.
If the child is over 2 years old, the stroller is considered an extra piece of baggage and is chargeable.
Please note: at Orly 4 Airport, strollers must be dropped off at check-in. You cannot keep them until boarding; they will be returned upon arrival. Orly Airport provides strollers free of charge up to the boarding gate.
Exception: if you have a Babyzen Yoyo stroller (maximum dimensions 55 x 35 x 25 cm), it is allowed in the cabin, but it must be stored in its protective bag to be accepted on board. This Yoyo stroller will also count as the sole cabin baggage of the adult traveling with the baby.
Baggage allowance for a child under 2 years
Children up to 2 years old are entitled to a 10 kg checked baggage allowance (maximum dimensions: length + width + height = 158 cm) regardless of destination. A stroller or infant carrier is accepted free of charge in hold in addition to the 10 kg allowance. If additional baggage is needed, it will count against the adult accompanying the infant.
Please note: infants do not have cabin baggage included in their fare. Their personal items and in-flight necessities must be placed in the adult’s cabin baggage.
Since 15 January 2020, the transport of a bedbox is no longer permitted on any of our routes.
Baggage allowance for children aged 2 to 11 years
For children aged 2 (as of the first flight) to 11 inclusive (under 12 on the date of each flight), the checked baggage allowance is the same as for adults (baggage dimensions: length + width + height = maximum 158 cm).

- Non-Economy Basic fares: 1 piece of checked baggage up to 23 kg included on all routes, except between Paris and Africa, where the allowance is 2 pieces of 23 kg.

Babies (under 2 years):
As each child’s needs vary, we recommend bringing everything necessary for your baby during the flight: meals, milk or water in bottles, diapers, empty bottles, care products, etc. Our crew is available to warm the bottles and meals you have prepared.
Complimentary baby kit:
If you are travelling with a baby under 2 years on a Corsair flight, a baby kit will be graciously offered once you are seated. It contains:
- Small bottle of water
- Sun hat
- Soft toy
- Organic savoury baby food pot
- Organic sweet baby food pot
This kit is not a full baby meal. It is provided subject to availability and its contents may change without notice.
Children (2 to 11 years inclusive):
Complimentary child meals, tailored for ages 2 to 11, are offered on board. Children are served first. The child meal is an optional service to select when purchasing your ticket for both outbound and return flights.
- When booking on the Corsair website, the child meal is automatically selected for each segment.
- You may replace it with another meal type (low-sodium, gluten-free, etc.) as needed.
Important information
- The complimentary child meal must be reserved when purchasing the ticket or at least 48 hours before departure.
- If not reserved, an adult meal will be served to the child.
- If you purchased your tickets through a non-Corsair sales point (travel agency, partner site, etc.), ask your agent to add the child meal to each relevant flight.
Dedicated entertainment for children’s journey
On board, the airline offers children a selection of age-appropriate games, movies, cartoons, magazines, and a dedicated audio channel.
A children’s kit with games is provided free of charge for children aged 2 to 11, subject to availability.
Is your child taking their first flight? Ask our cabin crew for your Corsair flight certificate signed by the captain as a memento of this special adventure!
Frequently Asked Questions
We provide bassinets for infants under 9 months for a supplement of €50 per journey. The number of bassinets on board is limited, and availability is not guaranteed at the time of booking.
Online booking of a bassinet is only possible during web check-in (72 hours before departure). You must therefore reserve one before departure by contacting our customer service, open daily from 07:00 to 23:00. Please also contact your travel agency if you purchased your ticket through them.
Pregnant women are permitted on Corsair long-haul flights up to the 35th week of pregnancy or up to the 37th week of amenorrhea without a medical certificate. From the start of the eighth month of pregnancy, you must present a medical certificate of good health and fitness to travel, dated less than 4 days before departure.
The same conditions apply to the return flight for trips longer than 15 days. You will not be accepted on board during the last month of pregnancy.
Pregnant women may travel in all classes, but are not allowed to occupy seats located in the “emergency exit row.”
