Fares tailored to every traveler
At Corsair, we believe everyone deserves a fare designed just for them. Whether you're traveling with a baby or a child, or you're a young adult, student, or senior, we’ve created specific offers to meet your needs. Fares by traveler type
Infants (up to 2 years old) receive a 90% discount on the adult fare. They pay only 10% of the adult fare. Infants are not subject to fuel surcharges or the full amount of airport taxes and fees.
On board, infants do not occupy a personal seat and travel on their parent’s lap. They have a checked baggage allowance of up to 10 kg. A stroller or travel crib may also be transported free of charge in the hold, in addition to the 10 kg baggage allowance.
Infants, as they do not occupy a seat, may be eligible for a bassinet depending on their age. The number of bassinets is limited per flight and allocation is done at the airport. You may also reserve one in advance (paid service, subject to availability).
Note : a single adult may not travel with 2 or more infants. For safety reasons, only one infant under 2 years of age is allowed per adult.
Important :
If your child turns 2 years old by the return date, they must occupy a seat (this is a strict safety regulation). In this case, the child will pay the child fare on the return flight only (and retains the infant fare on the outbound flight). This special fare requires assistance from our customer service team. Online booking is not available in this scenario (an error message will appear at the “passenger information” step).
Corsair offers special fares for children.
Child fares are calculated based on the adult fare. Children aged 2 to 11 years old benefit from a discount of up to 33% off the adult fare. Children must travel with an adult over the age of 18. They occupy their own seat on board and benefit from the same checked baggage allowance as an adult.
If your child is 11 years old on the outbound flight and turns 12 before the return flight, you will need to pay the child fare for the outbound and the youth fare for the return (discount of up to 10% may apply). For technical reasons, this type of mixed-fare ticket cannot be purchased online. To book, please contact our customer service.
Corsair offers special fares for young travelers aged 12 to 24 years old at the time of travel.
Youth fares are available in Economy class and offer a more generous baggage allowance (2 x 23 kg) than the standard adult fare on certain destinations. The ticket is valid for one year and may be modified or refunded, with or without fees.
While youth fares may be more expensive than promotional fares, they offer unmatched travel flexibility.
To book a youth fare, select "youth" as the passenger type when choosing your destination and travel dates.
Corsair offers special fares for students.
Student fares are available in Economy class and include a more generous baggage allowance (2 x 23 kg) than the standard adult fare on certain destinations. Tickets are valid for 1 year and can be modified free of charge at the same fare (otherwise, you will pay the fare difference if the new ticket is more expensive). Refunds are possible with applicable fees.
While these fares may be more expensive than promotional ones, they offer unmatched flexibility.
Conditions : you must be between 18 and 29 years old at the time of travel and present a valid student certificate or proof of enrollment in higher education at the airport check-in on the day of departure.
To book a student fare, select "student" as the passenger type when choosing your destination and travel dates.
Corsair offers senior fares for travelers over 60 years old at the time of travel.
These are Economy class fares that include a more generous baggage allowance than the standard adult fare on certain destinations, with a ticket validity of 1 year. These fares can be modified or refunded, with or without fees. While they may be more expensive than promotional fares, they offer unmatched travel flexibility.
The checked baggage allowance is 1 x 23 kg on all our destinations except from Mauritius to Paris, where the allowance is 2 x 23 kg.
To book a senior fare, please select "senior" as the passenger type when choosing your destination and travel dates.
Fare classes by cabin
The Economy class is divided into 3 fare categories :
1 - Economy Basic
- Ticket changeable with a €200 fee as of May 31, 2023.
- Ticket non-refundable since April 18, 2023.
- Limited number of seats available at this fare.
- Maximum stay duration is 1 month in most cases.
- One 23 kg checked bag included only for flights to/from Abidjan, Bamako, and Cotonou.
2 - Economy Classic
- Ticket changeable with a fee as of April 15, 2024 (€50 for flights between Réunion and Mayotte or Réunion and Madagascar, and €200 for all other destinations).
- Ticket non-refundable since April 18, 2023.
- One 23 kg checked bag included.
3 - Economy Flex
These fares offer maximum flexibility. Changes and refunds before flight departure are free of charge. They are available to all passengers.
Tickets are valid for 1 year and may be modified at any time before departure, within 1 year from the date of purchase (not from the travel date).
One checked bag is included in the fare.
In Premium Smart, you benefit from :
- Two 23kg checked bags on all destinations except Africa (Mali, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin).
- One 18kg cabin bag.
- Ticket changeable with a fee as of April 15, 2024 (€70 for travel between Réunion and Mayotte or Réunion and Madagascar, €250 for all other destinations).
- Choice of two hot meals. You can pre-select your meal up to 48 hours before departure (during ticket purchase, after purchase via "My Booking" section, or through customer service).
In Premium Flexible, you benefit from :
- Two 23kg checked bags on all destinations except Africa (Mali, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin).
- One 18kg cabin bag.
- Free ticket changes.
- Free ticket refunds.
- Free standard seat selection at time of booking.
- Open return (Open ticket) option. Must be booked through customer service, not available online.
- Choice of two hot meals. You can pre-select your meal up to 48 hours before departure (during ticket purchase, after purchase via "My Booking" section, or through customer service).
With Business Smart, you benefit from :
- 2 checked bags of 32 kg each
- 1 carry-on bag of 18 kg
- Ticket changes free of charge before departure (effective from April 18, 2023)
- Seat selection available at the time of booking
- Choice of 3 hot meals (pre-order available up to 48 hours before departure via “My Booking” or Customer Service)
With Business Flexible, you benefit from
- 2 checked bags of 32 kg each
- 1 carry-on bag of 18 kg
- Free ticket changes
- Full refund available with no fees
- Seat selection included
- Option for open return (must be booked via Customer Service, not available online)
- Choice of 3 hot meals (pre-order strongly recommended at least 48 hours before departure)

You have seen a more attractive fare than the one obtained at the time of your booking. We understand your disappointment, but it is common for fares to vary depending on supply and demand. The objective of an airline is to ensure its cabins are filled and, depending on the booking rate, to adjust its fares according to demand. In your case, our prices were clearly regulated because the number of seats still available exceeded our sales targets.
