IMPORTANT: NITROUS OXIDE CYLINDERS

N20-E942 FOOD NITROUS OXIDE CARTRIDGES,
IN PARTICULAR USED AS PROPELLER AND AERATOR GAUZE
FOR WHIPPED CREAM, FOOD AND DRINKS,
ARE PROHIBITED IN THE HOLD AND IN THE CABIN.

For health and safety reasons, a certain number of goods are absolutely prohibited on board, whether in cabin or in the hold baggage:

  • Sharp instruments: knife, scissors...
  • Work tools: drill, screwdriver, saw, hammer...
  • Blunt objects: baseball bat, skateboard...
  • Liquids of +100mL as well as drinks.
(*) all goods prohibited in the hold are also prohibited on board.
  • Explosives: fireworks, sparklers, rockets, firecrackers, explosive catchers, etc.
  • Compressed gases, flammable or non-flammable: tear gas, stoves with refills or butane bottles, gas cartridges, aerosols in large quantities, freon, helium, etc.
  • Flammable liquids: kerosene stoves and refills, paints and thinners, varnishes, automotive lacquers, fuels, motor vehicles whose fuel tank has not been completely drained (mopeds, motorcycles, karts, mowers, chainsaws, generators), etc
  • Flammable solids: type matches, embers, barbecue lighters.
  • Toxic products: toxic or anesthetic products, pesticides, insecticides, infectious materials or microbial cultures, etc.
  • Organic peroxides and oxidants: products for common household use such as hydrogen peroxide, washing powder, detergents, chemicals, liquid or powdered fertilizers (chlorate or nitrate), weedkillers, etc.
  • Radioactive materials: materials, products, instruments or devices containing radioactive material, even if they are deemed to be exempt from regulation.
  • Any corrosive product such as batteries, electrolytes, mercury barometers and thermometers, acids, bleach, etc.
  • Dangerous goods (miscellaneous): in classification 9 of the UN, there is carbon ice, and yet we transport it.
  • Ammunition: Regulation 185/2010 (§5, appendix 5b) now prohibits the transport of ammunition in checked baggage. Ammunition must be transported via freight.
  • The transport of hoverboards, scooters and other Segways and electric unicycles.
  • Faced with the risk of fire linked to the overheating of these devices, the transport of MAC BOOK PRO 15'' laptops is strictly prohibited in checked baggage but is still authorized in cabin baggage. On board, the use and recharging of these devices are strictly prohibited throughout the duration of the flight.

Your responsibility is of course engaged if you transport one or more of these dangerous materials not declared at check-in.

Of course, for your personal comfort, food items (crisps, biscuits and sweets) are authorized in the cabin.
Your valuables such as cameras or tablets are also accepted in the cabin.
