You have finally arrived on Malian soil, in Bamako, located about fifteen kilometers south of the capital. For your intercity transport, prefer private coach companies considered more reliable (Binke Transport, Bani transport etc.) which are gradually replacing a fleet of bush taxis (peugeots 404) that are not very comfortable and can give rise to luggage supplements.
It is not recommended to rent a car on site, as the obligation of civil insurance towards third parties is little fulfilled by Malian motorists.
