Pre-flight formalities

We remind you that it is your responsibility to check entry and residence formalities with the embassy or consulate of your destination or connecting country.  

The information provided below by CORSAIR is provided as advice and is subject to change. It is your responsibility to check with the relevant authorities regarding the documents and formalities required to enter the destination or transit country on the date of your trip. CORSAIR reserves the right to refuse carriage to any passenger who is not in compliance with the local authorities of your country of departure, transit and destination with regard to administrative, police, health or customs formalities, and cannot be held responsible in the event of denied boarding or access to the destination country due to failure to comply with police, health or customs formalities.

Passengers refused check-in or boarding for reasons of non-compliant documents will automatically lose their ticket.

In case of no-show or non-validity, boarding will be refused.

Important information : For security reasons, hold baggage checks may be carried out by our agents before check-in. We remind you that you must be in possession of all your luggage and know its contents.

List of documents to provide

    Documents required to enter the territory:

    • A currently valid identity card or passport
    • For nationals of foreign countries: valid passport, visa if applicable and a return ticket or a continuation of travel.

    For minors:

    • Those who travel with both parents or only one of the two do not need an authorization to leave the territory, only the passport will suffice.
    • If traveling alone, the child must present their passport or identity card (depending on the requirements of the country of destination), the authorization form to leave the territory signed by one of the two parents as well as a photocopy of the identity document of the signatory parent.

      Documents required to enter the territory:

      • A currently valid identity card or passport
      • A round-trip ticket

      Proof of residence and financial capacity (USD 100 per day) may also be required.

      All travellers, whether vaccinated or not, must submit to the Mauritian authorities upon arrival a passenger and health identification form (« Mauritius All in One Travel Form »). It is recommended to complete it before departure.

        For minors:

        • Those who travel with both parents or only one of the two do not need an authorization to leave the territory, only the passport will suffice.
        • If traveling alone, the child must present their passport or identity card (depending on the requirements of the country of destination), the authorization form to leave the territory signed by one of the two parents as well as a photocopy of the identity document of the signatory parent.

          Documents required to enter the territory:

          • A passport valid for 6 months after the return date,
          • Before departure, passengers must complete the healthy disembarkation form, accessible below:
          • For stays of less than 3 months, an entry and stay VISA is mandatory. There are, however, no VISA fees for stays of less than 15 days,
          • A paper copy of your e-ticket. In case of non-presentation of the document, you will be turned back by the Malagasy authorities,
          • A return or onward ticket,
          • An accommodation address (hotel name, rental address, etc.).

          Since January 1, 2016, a tourist tax of €10 must be paid by any foreigner entering Malagasy territory.

          Sanitary restrictions:

          There is no mandatory vaccine to do for your trip to Madagascar, except against yellow fever for travelers from infested countries. In this case, the vaccine must be done at least 10 days before departure.

                • Passport, service passport or diplomatic passport.
                • Obligation of biometric visa and vaccination against yellow fever.

                For minors:

                • If traveling alone, the child must present their passport or identity card (depending on the requirements of the country of destination), the authorization form to leave the territory signed by one of the two parents as well as a photocopy of the identity document of the signatory parent.

                  Hexagon to Bamako

                   

                  Documents required to enter the territory:

                  • A currently valid passport
                  • Obligation to vaccinate against yellow fever

                  Corsair will only accept the following documents:

                  • Valid Malian passport,
                  • Passport with a valid Malian visa affixed to it.
                  • Except for a temporary travel document in lieu of a passport (even issued by the Malian Consulate General in Paris).

                  At the request of Malian authorities, the following documents are no longer accepted:

                  • Unheaded visa,
                  • Malian National Identity Card (which previously allowed an exemption from a passport),
                  • NINA card (National Identification Number),
                  • NINA identification card,
                  • Family register,
                  • Expired passport (previously, a tolerance of up to 5 years after the expiration date was accepted).

                    For minors:

                    • Those who travel with both parents or only one of the two do not need an authorization to leave the territory, only the passport will suffice.
                    • If traveling alone, or accompanied by a person who is not one of their biological parents, the child must present their passport, the territory exit authorization form signed by one of the two parents as well as a photocopy of the identity document of the signatory parent and any document justifying his trip.

                      • Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA): For all travel to Canada or in transit, travelers will need to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization. In accordance with Canadian law, we are obliged to transmit information concerning your reservation to the Canada Border Services Agency.
