The conditions related to the transportation of special luggage apply exclusively to flights operated by CORSAIR. For all flights operated by other airlines, we invite you to contact them to find out about the relevant conditions.

 1 - Musical instruments

Corsair allows you to travel with musical instruments if you comply with the following conditions :

  • In the hold : musical instruments must be carried in a rigid case and must not exceed 158 cm. For any instrument exceeding 300cm or weighing more than 32kg, prior approval from our customer service department is required.

  • In the cabin : their dimensions must not exceed 115cm, and they replace the cabin luggage authorized in your ticket.

If it is an additional baggage item (in addition to the luggage included, depending on the fare class), you will be charged :

  • 50€ per leg of the journey for Martinique, Guadeloupe, Reunion Island and Mayotte, and for regional Indian Ocean flights,
  • 70€ per leg of the journey for international flights.

2 - Medical equipment

For medical equipment (breathing apparatus or other equipment), you must request prior authorization from the company.
Some equipment contains "hidden" dangerous goods that are not authorized in the cabin.

3 - Wedding dresses

You can take your wedding dress in the cabin instead of a hand luggage item, if it is packed in a garment bag. Make sure your luggage does not exceed the weight and size limits.
Consult the regulations and fees applicable to cabin luggage.

You can choose to transport your wedding dress in the hold instead of a luggage item, or an additional piece of luggage reserved or purchased in advance. You don't have to book transportation for your wedding dress.

4 - Sharp objects

These items are accepted in the hold without prior request, as long as they comply with certain mandatory instructions. They must be disassembled as much as possible, and packed in suitable, strong, padded packaging that effectively protects the items and does not risk damaging other luggage or injuring handlers.

To help you prepare your luggage, please read the following regulations issued by the French Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition.

5 - Sporting weapons and ammunition

These items are accepted in the hold, as long as the following instructions are followed :
at check-in, these items must be identified and accompanied by an authorization to possess a weapon (hunting permit or shooting license) and a proof of ownership. Our ground staff must have easy access to the contents of this luggage in order to check its weight and contents.
This luggage is X-rayed.

To help you prepare your luggage, please read the following regulations issued by the French Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition.

Weapons are obviously forbidden in the cabin, including replica weapons (airsoft, etc.) : they can only be carried in the hold.
Your weapons must be completely unloaded and packed in a case or crate. We can only accept them if they are authorized by the departure, transit and destination authorities. Ammunition must be perfectly wedged inside each package, so that it cannot collide. These packages must not be placed inside any other hold luggage.
Warning :
a maximum of 5 kg of cartridges, including packaging, is accepted per passenger, including replica airsoft weapons.
Cartridges with explosive or incendiary projectiles are prohibited and all bulk ammunition is refused.
We also ask you to systematically report the transport of your weapon before your departure to Customer Service, which is open every day from 07:00 to 23:00 at :
